PETE ZIEBRON
On Sunday, Roger Federer will play Rafael Nadal for the Miami Masters title. Whomever wins will add yet another tally to the haul of the Big Four at the ATP Masters 1000 events.
Marin Cilic was the last non-Big Four man to win a Masters title when he was victorious in Cincinnati last August. Prior to that win, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga needed to defeat Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray, Grigor Dimitrov and Roger Federer to win in Toronto in 2014.
The upper echelon of the ATP has absolutely dominated the Masters 1000s since 2005.
